The Warehouse department (and the work the warehouse staff
does) is the heart of VV. With over 100 years of combined experience specific
to the organic produce industry, our warehousers know how to handle the
product. They know the labels, the multiple packs and the varieties contained
within. They know the temperature requirements. They know how to build a mixed
pallet that can travel to the customer and preserve the quality of the product.
Growers, carriers and customers like coming to the VV dock. They appreciate
being received by friendly professional staff that know and care about the
product they handle.

All staff are required to spend time working in the
warehouse, regardless of the position for which they were hired. This is an
ongoing requirement. At VV we recognize and honor the labor that goes into the
growing, distribution and preparation of fresh food.
We are certified by California Certified Organic Farmers
(CCOF) as an organic handler.
