Our internal community of over 100 employees is organized into seven departments: Administration, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Sales, Training and Education, Transportation, and Warehouse.
Because we believe in our community and are so committed to our values, and because we consider ourselves both a community and a business, we offer comprehensive training to each member of our team. In addition to the nuts and bolts of what we do, our training consists of topics such as an overview of sustainable agriculture, health and safety in the workplace, and how VV has evolved to be the company it is today. We invest in education and training for all employees as a way of ensuring high quality staffing, safety, and leadership throughout the company.
Who We Are
Most of the 100+ human beings working at VV are artists, musicians, photographers, writers, chefs, dancers, poets, ritualists, parents, social activists or healers. This comes as no surprise to those who work here. We see a connection between art and politics, working hard and making the world a better place, and the blend of personal creative processes and collaborating with others to effect social change.
Although our employee census changes, we have an unusual gender balance; approximately 65% of the people who work at VV are women. We know that makes us very different from other businesses.
