A Learning Opportunity
Veritable Vegetable welcomes the opportunity to offer a view into our facilities to youth groups and community organizations. We are particularly interested in sharing our knowledge regarding the following topics:
• Organic standards and certification
• Storage and handling of produce
• Our trucks and the transportation of produce
• Food systems
• VV philosophy of honoring workers
• The history of Veritable Vegetable
Tours generally last between 1 -1 ½ hours and can include a tour of the warehouse, a truck, and a roundtable discussion.
We prefer groups of 20 or less. Children’s groups must be accompanied by a reasonable number of chaperones (based on age of children).
For the safety of our visitors, we request that closed toe shoes be worn by tour participants. We also recommend layering clothing as the warehouse and coolers can be quite cold regardless of the outside temperature.
Our Process

2. Complete Warehouse Tour Request Form (download PDF).
3. This request form should be submitted at least two weeks prior to your preferred visit date. Please allow at least three working days for a response.
4. We understand your need to plan for your visit so we will respond to all requests.
5. If we can accommodate your request, we require confirmation of the number of attendees two days prior to the tour date.
