Getting Started
The best way to get started is to talk with a member of our Sales Department. Give us a call at (415) 641-3500 and ask for anyone in Sales and we will help guide you through the process. Alternatively, you can fill out our online questionnaire and we will contact you soon. New customers will need to submit a credit application and gain approval from our Finance Department. We ask that you please allow two weeks for processing.
Payment
All new accounts will be C.O.D. for the first month, after which time we establish credit terms. We do NOT accept credit cards for payment, only cash or check. We expect customers to adhere to credit terms; past due accounts may cause order delays.
Availability
Our daily availability list features a wide array of organic fruits and vegetables, and includes variety, size/grade, pack type, and label name for each item. You can select preferred individual farm names and labels when ordering; we encourage farm identity and recognition of the unique quality produced by different farms.
We also offer a small selection of transitional produce (food grown from farms converting to organic) and conventionally grown non-organic products. The certification of everything we sell is always clearly indicated on all availability lists and invoices, and labeled appropriately.
Every two weeks we publish Produce Notes, a collection of insights from our buyers regarding current produce trends, crops impacted by weather, seasonal highlights, etc. Access the current or archived editions.
Once you become a customer, you will receive a login and password to view our daily availability list online.

Placing Orders
We create a new availability list every day except Saturday. Once you become a customer, you will receive a login to our online availability list that becomes available by 9:30 am each day. If you do not have online access, you may request your Salesperson to fax the availability list to you. Orders can be placed by phone until 3:00pm for next-day delivery. Once you become a customer, you also have the option of emailing us your orders through this site.
Because we serve customers of all different sizes, we do split cases of certain produce. Review a full list of our policies.
