Veritable Vegetable is the nation’s longest-lasting distributor of certified organic produce. Since 1974, VV has benefitted from the creativity and hard work of our employees, and the deep relationships we’ve formed with our growers and customers. We’re proud to have earned a reputation for quality, integrity, and leadership in the organic industry.
Currently our 100 plus staff serve an active base of over 600 customers and vendors combined. In addition to distributing the freshest, organic produce in the industry, we collaborate with businesses and organizations committed to sustainable food systems here in California, regionally and nationally.
We base our business model on principles of diversity, advocacy, integrity, and a rigorous work ethic. Our work provides an opportunity to be both individually creative and cooperative, and we consider VV both a business and an instrument for social, economic, and environmental change.
